This page explains what data we collect and why, how it is stored, and what your rights are. It describes what the product actually does — nothing more.
SaloonTrack is a salon management platform. The salon owner subscribes and gets a public booking page for their customers. We are the service provider; the owner is responsible for their customers’ data.
Salon and owner name, email, phone and city, and a password stored hashed which we never see. Plus what they enter: services, prices, staff, hours, bookings and takings.
When booking: name, phone, chosen services and an optional note. If they create an account in the customer app: a passwordless identity, an optional email, and a notification subscription if enabled. We never ask for card or ID numbers.
Each salon has its own separate database on a server in Europe. One salon’s data is never mixed with another’s.
The owner and whoever they grant permission to, within that permission. We access it only on their support request or for a technical necessity. We never sell or share it with advertisers.
A customer with an account has one identity across salons, but each salon sees only its own card: it cannot tell that the customer visits another salon, nor see their history there.
Push notifications go only to those who enabled them, and can be turned off in the app or the browser. WhatsApp messages are sent from the salon’s own device, not our servers.
On the marketing site only (saloontrack.com) we measure where visitors come from and which steps they complete, so we know which ad works. Two things do that: a random identifier stored in your browser that carries no name or email, and a TikTok measurement pixel for our ad campaigns. We never send any advertiser your email, phone or salon name. ⚠️ The salon booking page and the customer app carry no advertising pixel at all — salon customers are not the audience of our campaigns. You can block this in your browser’s cookie settings, and signup and the app keep working fully.
Data is kept while the subscription is active. On termination an encrypted backup is kept for a limited period, then deleted. App customers may delete their account at any time — this does not erase the salon’s accounting records of their visits.
You may request a copy, a correction, or deletion of your data — from the salon if you are a customer, or from us if you are the owner.
We may update this page; the last-updated date appears above. Material changes are communicated to salon owners.
