Salon & barbershop management software
The month-end argument about commission does not start with the numbers — it starts with the fact that they were worked out on paper: a rate that changed mid-month, and a barber who says a service credited to someone else was his. SaloonTrack calculates from the line items themselves.
No credit card · ready in a minute
A percentage of services · a daily or monthly salary · chair rent the barber pays you · or a base plus a percentage. Every staff member has their own model, so you are never forced into one your salon does not use.
The model is dated: the one in force on a given day is the most recent that does not pass it, and the month is split day by day. Raise a barber’s rate today and last month’s statement stays exactly as it closed.
Commission comes from completed bookings only, at the rate frozen at the moment of service. And a service is credited to whoever actually performed it — anything credited to nobody appears grouped as “unassigned” rather than vanishing.
Ready date ranges and a service-by-service breakdown for each barber, plus staff comparison in reports. And whoever owes chair rent stays on the statement even with no services — money owed to the salon is information, not a blank.
A bottle of cologne carries a thinner margin than a haircut, so commission on products is set per product rather than by the service rate — otherwise the commission eats the whole margin.
